Welcome to the PEMS
Conference list for 2012. This list, with over 270 entries, is organised
around the calendar year. Conferences of particular interest or with substantive
local involvement are highlighted in red. I have attempted to provide a list which
includes many quality educational and thought-inspiring conferences, as well
as some more esoteric or unusual events for seasoned or extreme conference
attendees. I have also attempted to provide a balance between local content
and international conferences, from all continents (yes, there is an
Antarctic expedition conference see the December entries). Note that in a
number of the South American conferences Spanish is the official language. This PEM Conference list was
compiled in good faith and is provided as an information service to
facilitate continuing professional development (continuing medical education)
activities for members of PEMS and other interested parties. The compiler,
PEMS, PREDICT (and absolutely anyone else in the world for that matter) do NOT warrant the veracity, accuracy or
completeness of this list, nor take any responsibility for any consequences
of using this list. Finally, PEMS has no financial interest in any of the
